DESCRIPTION:Upcoming MGHPCC (Holyoke) Annual Power Shutdown [June 2\, 2025 3:00 PM ET - June 4\, 2025 5:00 PM ET] (multi-day) \nDue to the annual MGHPCC (Holyoke data center) power maintenance as well as other maintenance activities\, the New England Research Cloud (NERC) services will be unavailable from Monday\, June 2nd\, 3 PM until Wednesday\, June 4th\, 5 PM. \nNERC services that will be impacted include: \n\nNERC's OpenStack\nNERC's OpenShift\, which includes the Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) platform\nNERC supporting shared services ColdFront\, RegApp\, ESI\, and Keycloak\n\nWe have worked to reduce the total outage time this year. DESCRIPTION:Upcoming NERC system maintenance and upgrade will occur on Tuesday\, April 14\, 2026\, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. \nGENERAL MAINTENANCE \n- We will be upgrading the Openshift Container Platform (OCP) on the NERC OpenShift Production Cluster to version 4.21. \n- We will be adding support for Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) to our production cluster. \n- We are upgrading our ColdFront deployment. \nNOTICES \n- The Production Cluster’s OpenShift\, OpenShift AI and ColdFront services will be unavailable during this maintenance. \n- Please keep a backup of your critical data or application running on your project on NERC’s OpenShift cluster. \n- Project allocation requests and change requests for both OpenStack and OpenShift Resources will not be accepted or approved during this time.\n\n- The estimated time to complete this maintenance is 9 hours.
