DESCRIPTION:Upcoming NERC system maintenance and upgrade will occur on Tuesday\, September 9\, 2025 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. \nGENERAL MAINTENANCE \n- We will be upgrading our Red Hat OpenShift container platform (OCP) version on NERC to version 4.19. This release brings important enhancements to improve performance\, security\, and the overall user experience. \n- Unified Console Experience: The Admin and Developer views are now combined into one interface\, reducing context switching and enabling seamless end-to-end workflows. \n- We have also set up and now offer an isolated Academic (EDU) OpenShift cluster designed to fully support academic research and coursework\, providing a stable and dedicated environment for instructors\, principal investigators\, students\, and other users. If you are planning to run courses on NERC in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026\, please contact us so we can coordinate and provide the necessary support. \nNOTICES \n- The OpenShift services will be unavailable during this maintenance. \n- Please keep a backup of your critical data or application running on your project on NERC’s OpenShift cluster. \n- Project allocation requests and change requests for both OpenStack and OpenShift Resources will not be accepted or approved during this time. \n- The estimated time to complete this maintenance is 9 hours.
